I recently finished a remodeling project on a small residential half bathroom; because it was shoehorned into a former closet, space was at a premium. Built-in shelving was a non-starter, so I looked around for something that would fit the (contemporary) remodel scheme but could be moved around as necessary. I found this Pottery Barn Grant Shelving ($199); The heavy-duty (17#) polished nickel floor storage featured three removable enameled trays with raised perimeter lips to keep stored objects in place. Each of the three shelves has a generous capacity of 50 pounds and all are amply sized at nearly 18' x 10"; the handles make for easy moving for cleaning the floor, for example, an important point when considering the size of the new bathroom.
